PETALING JAYA: The body of a food delivery man who was slashed to death was found at a playground in SS3 here.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din said the body was found by senior citizens who were there for morning exercises at around 7am Wednesday.
"We dispatched a patrol car to the scene and cordoned off the area at around 7.30am.
"Based on our investigations, the victim was a 33-year-old man from Kelana Jaya," he told reporters when met at the scene.
He said no weapon was found at the scene.
"We are investigating the case as murder," he said, urging anyone with information to contact the police hotline at 03-2052 9999 or visit the nearest police station
